The roadmap for Georgia in the framework of EU P2P ATT Outreach Project to support the implementation of the Arms Trade Treaty was endorsed by the partner country in the beginning of 2016. The first activity is scheduled for 06/01/2016-06/02/2016.
Based on the findings of the initial visit, the first roadmap activity will focus on technical aspects of rating and identification of military items.
Risk assessment criteria as well the topic of diversion will be discussed during this meeting. Practical examples and case studies provided by experts from Germany, Greece, Romania and the United Kingdom will support Georgian licensing and customs officers in effective and accurate implementation of the Treaty.
